About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Wealth Management Advisors and Private Bank teams to acquire and retain key client relationships
- Deliver comprehensive wealth strategies and participate in client meetings
- Develop detailed understanding of client financial profiles, including net worth, cash flow, ownership structures, estate plans, and charitable goals
- Lead customized wealth strategies across estate, income tax, gift and estate tax, investment, risk, insurance, and cash flow planning
- Identify planning opportunities and research complex strategies
- Review financial modeling prepared by analysts to assess potential outcomes
- Coordinate preparation and review of client deliverables
- Provide oversight and guidance to analysts and junior strategists, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with planning recommendations
- Present recommendations, answer client and advisor questions, and support strategy execution
- Coach and mentor Wealth Strategy Analysts and Wealth Strategists
- Build referral relationships with internal partners and external centers of influence such as attorneys and CPAs
- Contribute to internal and external thought leadership
- Maintain knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and market developments
- Operate within the Bank’s risk framework and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of experience in financial, estate, or wealth planning within a professional services or wealth management environment
- Advanced knowledge across cash flow, income tax, gift and estate tax, investment, insurance, retirement, estate, and charitable planning
- Strong consultative approach with excellent communication and presentation capabilities
- Ability to collaborate, influence, and build relationships in a team-based environment
- Ability to assess complex client scenarios and develop strategic recommendations
- Experience supporting client acquisition and growth initiatives
- Ability to synthesize complex financial scenarios into actionable client strategies
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior talent
- Ability to engage effectively with clients, advisors, and senior partners
- Ongoing commitment to staying current with legislative and regulatory developments
- JD, CPA, CFP®, or equivalent credentials preferred
