About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions and employee enrollments
  • Manage course registrations, training communications, and scheduling logistics
  • Support onboarding and ongoing employee training initiatives
  • Prepare training materials and coordinate facilities or catering when required
  • Promote learning opportunities across the organization
  • Upload and maintain employee certifications, training records, and regulatory documentation
  • Ensure learning records are accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Support employee learning assignments and training completion tracking
  • Troubleshoot learning system issues and respond to learner inquiries
  • Maintain training databases and tracking tools
  • Generate reports related to training completion, certifications, compliance, and learning activity
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate training documentation
  • Ensure records are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Support updates to training processes and documentation as business needs evolve
  • Coordinate with external training providers for scheduling, enrollment, and course delivery
  • Process training-related invoices and maintain supporting documentation
  • Assist with purchase order administration and expense tracking
  • Maintain vendor records and support procurement processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve training administration processes
  • Support implementation of new tools and best practices
  • Contribute ideas that enhance the employee learning experience and operational efficiency
  • Report to the Training & Competency Program Lead
  • Work closely with employees, leaders, and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, learning administration, records management, or a related administrative role
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Experience maintaining large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
  • Preferred: experience using Workday Learning, BisTrainer, or similar learning management systems
  • Preferred: experience generating reports and analyzing training-related data
  • Preferred: experience processing invoices and purchase orders
  • Preferred: post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Adult Education, or a related field
