About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own enterprise requirements end to end, from security reviews or sales conversations through design and shipped platform capabilities
  • Participate in enterprise sales conversations and translate prospect needs into platform features
  • Build key management, tenant isolation, compliance integrations, and flexible cloud and on-prem deployment capabilities
  • Convert one-off enterprise requests into reusable platform capabilities
  • Work directly with founders and core platform engineers to implement designs
  • Ship designed solutions as a hands-on builder
  • Participate in a paid, scoped work trial on the enterprise roadmap (approximately 40 hours)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in backend, platform, or cloud security engineering
  • Experience shipping enterprise security capabilities requested by enterprise security teams
  • Experience building or operating multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Deep cloud security and IAM fundamentals
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Node
  • Ability to explain designs to enterprise security teams and answer difficult questions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada
  • US visa sponsorship is unavailable; Canadian sponsorship considered case by case through the Toronto Hub
  • Must be based in the Bay Area or Greater Toronto Area, or willing to relocate before starting
  • LinkedIn and GitHub profiles required in the application
