About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build the Exchange, making signed data partnerships live, metered, and billable through Firecrawl's API
  • Build the provider catalog, routing, and ingestion systems for partner data
  • Own the technical surface of the Exchange alongside existing engineers
  • Implement metering that turns partner usage into billing, reporting, and payouts
  • Build gating to enforce each source's permission terms in production
  • Work with the Head of Data Partnerships and founders to assess technical feasibility before deals are signed
  • Improve integrations so each subsequent partnership takes less work
  • Ship real product from day one and measure and iterate on delivered features

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience owning production data or integration systems end to end
  • Experience building and shipping developer-facing products used by real users
  • Experience with pipelines, third-party feeds, metering or billing infrastructure, or comparable systems
  • Strong product sense and attention to developer experience, including latency, response format, and documentation
  • Ability to own ambiguous problems and turn them into shipped features
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area or Greater Toronto Area before starting
  • No US visa sponsorship currently available; Canadian sponsorship considered case by case
