About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write, edit and produce employee communications for employees, people leaders and senior leaders
  • Manage production of recurring employee communications and newsletters, including content coordination, writing, editing, design, distribution and performance tracking
  • Create, publish and maintain content across FA Live, email and other digital platforms
  • Partner with HR teams and subject matter experts to translate complex information into employee-friendly communications
  • Support communications plans and campaigns for HR programs, enterprise initiatives and employee experience efforts
  • Support employee experience programs, employee resource groups, FirstAmCares, Employee Appreciation Week, employee recognition and culture and engagement efforts
  • Provide communications support and resources to employee resource groups
  • Develop routine communications materials and visual assets using established templates and brand standards
  • Support administration of employee communications tools and channels, including email distribution, content management and communications analytics
  • Monitor communications performance and engagement metrics, identify trends and provide insights
  • Coordinate with internal partners on upcoming employee communications, programs and events
  • Build working relationships across HR and other internal partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field involving professional written communications
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to adapt content for different audiences and communications channels
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, accessible and engaging employee communications
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Experience with email marketing, content management systems or other digital communications platforms
  • Ability to create professional communications materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to use communications metrics and employee feedback to improve content and engagement
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating within a broader team
