About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle, from loan acquisition through ongoing servicing and servicing transfers
Monitor service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax, insurance, and insurance claims
Process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely
Research exceptions and process off-cycle requests
Perform general escrow account maintenance and escrow analyses
Research and respond to internal customer requests and inquiries by evaluating relevant factors, resolving issues, and determining whether additional loans may be impacted
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines
Process and monitor departmental reporting requirements and workflows, ensuring reports and assigned work are completed accurately and on time
Perform basic mathematical calculations related to escrow servicing
Maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements
Conduct quality reviews, including insurance and tax document reviews and verification of information provided by tax assessors and other applicable sources

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred Bachelor's Degree
1+ years of experience working in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Loan Servicing
Ability to process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle
Knowledge of tax, insurance, and insurance claims servicing
Ability to process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely
Ability to research exceptions and process off-cycle requests
Ability to perform escrow account maintenance and escrow analyses
Ability to resolve internal customer requests and inquiries
Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to escrow servicing
Ability to maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements
Ability to conduct quality reviews of insurance and tax documents
