About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the overall vision for a specific operation within the Division and align it with business strategy
  • Lead the divisional operation function to deliver value, efficiency, and resilience
  • Direct and develop goals, objectives, and work standards for a Functional Unit
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures complying with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules, and standards
  • Plan, organize, administer, review, and evaluate professional, technical, and office support staff through subordinate managers and supervisors
  • Develop work teams and improve Functional Unit policies and procedures
  • Administer the Functional Unit’s annual and strategic goals
  • Confer with Executive Management regarding departmental requirements and solutions
  • Facilitate problem resolution and development of new initiatives supporting business segments
  • Authorize projects, set priorities, and approve project designs and cost estimates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 12+ years demonstrated experience managing complex cross functional units or groups
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in creating and executing strategic plans
  • Proven track record leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and driving organizational change
  • Success meeting the needs of a wide range of employees while driving team performance, monitoring results, and allocating resources
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in a relevant field
  • Strong experience and knowledge of functional tools and infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of metrics/dashboards supporting continuous improvement
  • Progressive experience leading employees in multiple locations and developing and implementing solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, critical-thinking, team-building, and presentation skills
  • Strong time-management and project-management skills; highly organized and driven
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to empower employees to reach their full potential
