About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform general and mid-level maintenance duties to ensure properties and premises meet corporate appearance standards and are ready for business
- Use power tools and hand tools for repair and maintenance work
- Respond to work orders through the online system by accepting, communicating findings, and closing work orders
- Follow safety standards
- Perform painting and light to moderate plumbing, electrical, roof repair, carpentry, lock, glass, lighting, equipment, machine, and assembly work
- Remove and destroy designated bank records
- Remove dirt, debris, snow, and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and drives
- Mow grass, trim shrubs, and clean and maintain landscaped areas and flower beds
- Set up and clean meeting rooms; move furniture and equipment
- Maintain vehicles assigned to the maintenance department
- Obtain bids for specified supplies and place orders as directed, including estimating material and labor costs
- Inspect banking facilities and properties for inventory, maintenance, and repair
- Work under minimal supervision and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum high school degree
- Three years of related work experience
- Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques
- Skills in light to moderate assembly, machine repair, and general maintenance
- Strong knowledge and understanding of building electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, computers, and mobile devices
- Basic computer skills for online work orders and email
- Ability to communicate effectively with bank associates and third-party contractors
- Ability to perform duties requiring initiative in a semi-standardized environment
- Ability to operate tools, equipment, and a motor vehicle with visual attention, dexterity, and coordination
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to move up and down stairs or use a ladder
- Ability to meet compliance requirements imposed by state and federal law, regulations, and bank policies
