About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop major functional or performance enhancements for existing products or produce new software products or tools.
Become a subject matter expert for Loan Origination Systems.
Explain and improve complicated code bases.
Assist with troubleshooting complex problems.
Work closely with stakeholders in various internal groups to balance delivery speed and quality.
Mentor and train junior developers.
Work on an Agile team with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other engineers.
Review and qualify business requirements, functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, and test plans.
Drive full-cycle, end-to-end development from design through production rollout.
Design, prototype, and author code for software components and applications.
Iterate to optimize customer experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of professional front-end development experience required.
Strong proficiency in React.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with both SQL/NoSQL databases.
Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and RDS.
Experience with AWS Kinesis Data Streams (KDS).
Experience with testing tools like JUnit and unittest.
Experience with mock tools like Mockito and MagicMock.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skill.
Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Brazil and go to the office once a week.
