About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a primary contact for commercial banking clients with basic loan portfolios.
  • Assist Commercial Relationship Managers with servicing commercial banking clients.
  • Handle day-to-day client calls, transactions, account inquiries, maintenance, and problem resolution.
  • Execute transfers, withdrawals, distributions, wire transfers, payments, fee waivers/refunds, overdrafts, monitoring reports, and other loan and account operations.
  • Prepare and review client account documents for Relationship Manager and client meetings.
  • Obtain information for loan applications, including financial statements, tax returns, and business documentation.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, vendors, and outside counsel on loan-request documentation.
  • Review, organize, and maintain accurate loan documents, legal loan files, and digital records.
  • Submit complete documentation requests and loan packages for boarding/funding.
  • Upload documentation to Director/Unity Client and maintain complete imaged files.
  • Create and clear Credit Track ticklers in accordance with loan agreements and guaranty requirements.
  • Support validation of legal entities, real estate collateral, UCC collateral, and titled collateral.
  • Support treasury and deposit products and internal referral programs.
  • Generate and review daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Reconcile client accounts, enter financial data, and monitor policy exceptions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ethics, AML, BSA, information security, suspicious activity reporting, regulatory, legal, and credit policy requirements.
  • Participate in training, operational and exception meetings, and maintain knowledge of bank products and credit policies.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with peers and business-unit teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 1-3 years banking experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Basic understanding of credit products, bank systems and commercial lending
  • General understanding of applicable federal regulations, credit policy and bank policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
  • Overtime subject to business need
