About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a primary contact between commercial banking clients and the Bank
  • Assist Commercial Relationship Managers with servicing clients across loan types, including large and complex loan portfolios
  • Maintain and expand client relationships through overall client support services
  • Handle day-to-day client calls, transactions and problem resolution
  • Respond to account inquiries, perform account maintenance and research and resolve client problems
  • Execute client transactions within delegated authority, including transfers, withdrawals, distributions, wire transfers, payments, fee waivers or refunds and overdrafts
  • Escalate requests outside specified norms or requiring Relationship Manager approval
  • Obtain financial statements, tax returns and business documentation for loan applications
  • Coordinate with attorneys, title companies and other vendors on UCC searches, title work, OFAC environmental reports, appraisals and flood determinations
  • Review and organize loan documentation, legal loan files and digital records
  • Prepare and review client account documents for Relationship Manager meetings
  • Submit complete documentation packages for loan boarding and funding
  • Upload complete documentation to Director/Unity Client and maintain timely imaging
  • Create Credit Track ticklers and help obtain information to clear them
  • Support validation of legal entities, real estate collateral, UCC and titled collateral
  • Support treasury and deposit products and internal referral programs
  • Ensure compliance with ethics, anti-money laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory, legal and credit policy requirements
  • Attend training, operational and exception meetings
  • Generate or obtain assigned reports, review them for accuracy and compliance, and make corrections
  • Reconcile client accounts, enter financial data and monitor policy exceptions as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 4-6 years banking experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Advanced understanding of credit products, bank systems and commercial lending
  • Sophisticated understanding of applicable federal regulations, credit policy and bank policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages
  • Thorough knowledge of key software systems and other Loan Operating Systems
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
  • Ability to work typical M-F, 8-5 hours; overtime subject to business need
