About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new business development opportunities for Attorney Services offerings
- Pursue new clients and grow an existing book of business through cross-selling
- Maintain client relationships at key accounts within the prescribed account development cycle
- Secure new and build upon existing Attorney and Law Firm clients for subpoena-based records retrieval services
- Offer and conduct Attorney continuing Legal Education opportunities
- Identify viable client prospects through directories, contact lists, databases, leads, internet resources, and personal networking
- Maintain accurate account and client details in the CRM, including account management, opportunity identification, and forecasting
- Recognize and expand on market conditions and the discovery phase of litigation
- Attend industry-related functions for networking and product knowledge
- Maintain confidentiality concerning internal and external matters
- Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as directed by the EVP of Sales and Regional Manager
- Interact with local Account Managers and Regional Managers within each sector
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 5 years of professional solutions-based outside sales experience in a fast-paced, multifaceted attorney service or legal environment or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Successful track record in developing and executing strategic business development action plans within a prescribed territory
- Experience generating SARG (same account revenue growth) from existing client base by leveraging cross-selling opportunities and other best practices
- Ability to identify and initiate contact with all decision-makers and secure initial client visits with qualified prospects
- Ability to convert prospects into new clients and grow additional business with existing clients
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and anticipating and meeting client base needs
- Results-driven, improvement-focused, and action-oriented self-starter able to oversee various responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Required to be in the field at least 2-3 times weekly
