About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert and process owner for specialized deposit servicing functions
  • Administer specialty deposit servicing processes, including tax reporting, tax form corrections and reprints, unclaimed property, W-8BEN and tax documentation, specialty account research, and legal processing coordination
  • Coordinate deposit product administration with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams
  • Maintain procedures, job aids, annual calendars, process documentation, policies, and working instructions
  • Monitor regulatory and procedural changes and recommend updates
  • Provide guidance and support for complex research, servicing inquiries, and escalations
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to strengthen efficiency, controls, and customer experience
  • Coordinate cross-training and business continuity plans
  • Support knowledge-sharing across Deposit Operations, Retail, Compliance, Item Processing, and other teams
  • Coordinate release and upgrade testing for deposit servicing functions and related operational processes
  • Support audits, examinations, reviews, and information requests
  • Partner with operational teams on research, procedural questions, and issue resolution
  • Support legal processing through specialty account research and coordination
  • Ensure responsibilities are completed accurately, timely, and according to service standards
  • Participate in process improvement, operational readiness, capability-building, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of banking, deposit operations, account servicing, or related operational experience required
  • Experience with tax reporting, unclaimed property, deposit account administration, legal processing coordination, specialty account research, or related functions preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret procedures, research complex issues, and serve as a subject matter expert
  • Experience supporting audits, examinations, regulatory requirements, or operational risk management activities preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Ownership mindset and commitment to follow-through
  • Ability to research, interpret, and apply complex requirements
