About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Service personal lines book of business
  • Process endorsements
  • Handle billing and payments, including monthly installments, questions, and mortgage down payments
  • Handle claims
  • Track renewals
  • Track and process pending and cancelled policies
  • Address underwriting issues on policies
  • Remarket and quote account rounds for existing personal lines business
  • Assist with issuing personal lines new business policies
  • Provide backup support and quote new business
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Distribute mail when needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree preferred
  • Industry knowledge preferred
  • Insurance License preferred
  • Obtain and maintain applicable licensing
  • Proficient in PC operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with carrier websites
  • Experience with agency management systems
  • Experience with comparative rater
  • Experience with DocuSign
  • Experience with RightFax
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Ability to work on-site four days per week in the Plano, Texas office
