About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement software applications supporting Clover’s business goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Code, test, and debug applications for optimal performance and reliability
Maintain and improve existing codebases
Lead peer review processes
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot critical backend incidents
Resolve API and microservice degradation
Ensure high availability of server-side infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in software development
5+ years of deep Java development
3+ years of experience with Spring Boot
4+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services
3+ years of experience with SQL databases
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
5+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
1+ years of working with AI platforms
Experience in the Payments domain or eCommerce Solutions preferred
Experience with AI Platforms preferred
