Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or C++
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience developing backend services
  • Competency in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and software design
  • Aptitude for diagnosing technical issues, debugging code, and automating routine tasks
  • Experience working with relational databases
  • Service decomposition
  • Building, deploying, and maintaining large-scale services
  • Multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS or GKE), GCE or EC2, networking and provisioning with Terraform
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI, Protobuf, or GQL
  • Familiarity with Istio, Linkerd, or Consul
  • Familiarity with Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy, or Apache Server
  • Familiarity with Redis or Memorystore
  • Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, or Splunk
