About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Track payments industry trends and standards and conduct competitive analysis
  • Translate market research into actionable insights informing roadmap decisions
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve merchant and consumer user experiences
  • Identify opportunities for differentiated and value-added Clover Ecosystem features
  • Build business cases for new payments features and products
  • Prioritize deliverables based on strategic value, revenue impact, operational benefits, and other factors
  • Define and track KPIs for Clover payments capabilities
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, product management, developer relations, quality assurance, and operations teams
  • Define requirements and write detailed user stories for payments-related features
  • Create marketing collateral and other materials with marketing staff
  • Monitor adoption of new features
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot production incidents
  • Track and ensure implementation of card brand compliance changes and monitor industry certification requirements
  • Help create product marketing materials, educate sales channels about Clover payments features, and contribute to winning large deals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Familiarity with payments and financial technology, including EMV, kernels, and alternate payment methods
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and influencing skills
  • Capability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion
  • BS/BA in computer science, engineering, economics, or a similar technical field
  • Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization required
  • Temporary visa holders, including F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, and TN, and candidates requiring sponsorship are not eligible
