About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical assistance and support to FIT Technologies clients
Support, monitor, and maintain client environments onsite or remotely
Build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
Install, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, network equipment, and PC peripherals
Maintain daily service calls and meet requested SLA time frames
Participate in equipment liquidations
Perform routine maintenance following company and client standards
Perform software and hardware upgrades
Provide detailed progress updates in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure physical cabling infrastructure meets desired standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Basic comprehension of networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP addressing and VLANs
Basic familiarity with network-based PC operating system deployment
Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policy
Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications
Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality of accessed, processed, or stored information
Ability to communicate technical information and instructions to clients with varying technical knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve problems
Ability to document troubleshooting steps in an internal ticketing system
Ability to work and adapt in an evolving-priority environment
Ability to follow processes and protocols
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to learn software tools and applications, such as asset tracking and ticketing systems
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance
Willingness to travel locally and occasionally to other parts of Ohio or out of state
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs
May occasionally require work weeks over 40 hours
Must not use tobacco/vape products, as FIT Technologies does not hire tobacco/vape users
