About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the monthly close of the management P&L
  • Prepare and consolidate the annual budget and periodic revisions (forecasting/reforecasts)
  • Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and projections, identifying root causes and proposing action plans
  • Build and maintain financial models and medium- to long-term projections for P&L, cash flow, and headcount
  • Prepare management reports and executive presentations, including board decks and committee materials
  • Act as a business partner to internal teams, supporting investment, hiring, and resource allocation decisions
  • Improve FP&A processes, controls, and automation, including dashboards, data integrations, and report standardization
  • Provide guidance and technical support to internal teams on financial matters
  • Review deliverables and promote FP&A best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of solid experience in FP&A, Controllership, or Financial Planning
  • Experience in mid-sized/large companies or high-growth environments is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with management accounting close processes (P&L), budgeting, and forecasting/reforecasts
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience using AI
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting, including P&L structures, cost centers, and general ledger accounts
  • Knowledge of financial metrics, including EBITDA, contribution margin, and unit economics
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and TOTVS is a plus
  • Familiarity with corporate planning tools such as Anaplan and Hyperion is a plus
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Rigor and attention to detail
  • Autonomy and a strong sense of ownership of deliverables
  • Clear and assertive communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information for non-financial audiences
  • Ability to act as a business partner
  • Ability to map, modify, or create end-to-end processes using AI
  • Ability to work in a high-growth and ambiguous environment
  • Experience in technology, HRTech/fintech, SaaS, marketplaces, M&A, multiple business units, or AI-powered FP&A automation is a plus
