About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate commercial, vendor, technology, and strategic partnership agreements
- Develop drafts, legal instruments, and standardized contract templates
- Provide legal support to the Sales, Procurement, and other business teams
- Participate in meetings with clients, business partners, vendors, and internal teams
- Lead contract discussions, negotiations, and legal alignment efforts
- Structure and negotiate strategic agreements, including agreements with card networks and business partners
- Identify and implement improvements to contracting processes, workflows, controls, templates, and automation
- Contribute to the advancement of contract lifecycle management (CLM)
- Use artificial intelligence and technology solutions to optimize legal workflows
- Assess legal and contractual risks and propose mitigation measures
- Handle contractual matters related to the protection of personal data under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Support business teams in developing contractual solutions and conducting strategic negotiations
- Work for a company that provides integrated HR and finance solutions on a single platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Strong experience in Contract Law, particularly drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial, vendor, and technology agreements
- Experience structuring contractual instruments and developing standardized drafts and templates
- Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and its impact on contractual relationships
- Knowledge of fintechs, payment institutions, financial services, and/or payment methods
- Experience building, reviewing, and improving legal workflows and processes
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools applied to legal work
- Familiarity with contract automation and management solutions
