About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically develop and expand existing and new MICE clients, agencies, and key accounts across German-speaking markets
  • Actively contribute to and further develop the annual Sales Action Plan, including new ideas, sales approaches, and creative initiatives
  • Conduct networking activities, personal client meetings, and relationship-building initiatives
  • Represent the hotels at client meetings, networking events, and site inspections
  • Plan and organize client events, FAM trips, and selected sales initiatives
  • Continuously monitor the market and competition and identify relevant trends in the MICE and hospitality sectors
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets and business plans for the respective company-operated properties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed hospitality training, a relevant degree, or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of experience in proactive MICE sales
  • Well-established network in the German-speaking hotel, event, or MICE market
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, combined with analytical and business management skills
  • Ideally, experience and an affinity for social media and professional networks such as LinkedIn
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style with a high level of self-motivation
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to travel
  • Enjoyment of working as part of a team
  • Very good German and good English language skills
  • Residence in or around Berlin
