About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to the Director of Mid-Market Sales as an integral part of the sales leadership team
  • Provide continuous mentorship for Mid-Market Account Executives
  • Deliver results backed by accurate forecasting
  • Define and track team KPIs
  • Spearhead a coaching culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, business operations, and sales enablement leaders to drive team strategy
  • Manage the team's day-to-day activities and output, including prospecting, funnel management, forecasting, and negotiating
  • Lead Individual Contributors to accelerate performance through key weekly activities
  • Align sub-department execution with division-wide goals and objectives
  • Review and recommend process and strategy changes to improve performance
  • Motivate and empower the team to own territories and exceed objectives
  • Lead sub-department and participate in divisional meetings and Sales Kick-offs
  • Collaborate with divisional peers to achieve top objectives
  • Lead hiring, off-boarding, performance management, and compensation efforts
  • Manage career paths, promotions, and backfill opportunities to maintain appropriate team size

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role within a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven success managing a team quota of $2M+
  • Proven consistent track record of exceeding assigned team revenue objectives
  • Proven track record and strategy of scaling outbound sourced ARR
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing team members
  • Intermediate business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of forecasting and budget management
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • In-depth sales process expertise and product knowledge
  • Ability to identify and attract top talent
  • Experience in transparent performance management
  • Negotiation skills with external prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Inspirational communication skills to motivate your team to top performance
  • Ability to connect with direct reports and inspire performance
