About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and pitch high-value opportunities where data, analytics, or automation can improve business outcomes
Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and impact measurement
Partner directly with stakeholders to understand goals, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions to ambiguous problems
Build scalable, production-quality data models in dbt
Design reusable data foundations and semantic-layer capabilities supporting BI, operational workflows, ML, and AI use cases
Improve data quality, consistency, and usability through modeling, testing, documentation, and metric governance
Help raise the team’s technical and analytical bar through thoughtful design and knowledge sharing
Potentially build canonical data models, improve the semantic layer, create dashboards and self-service analytics, develop predictive models, activate data in operational workflows, and prototype AI agents

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years of experience solving complex business problems with data in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, analytics, or a similar role
Track record of independently identifying opportunities and owning projects from idea through delivery and adoption
Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and influencing what should be built and how problems should be approached
Excellent SQL skills and proficiency with Python
Extensive experience with dbt and Snowflake, including building clean, reusable data models
Experience governing and building dashboards in business intelligence tools
Experience designing or working with semantic layers and governed metric definitions
Familiarity with predictive modeling and machine learning concepts is a plus
Experience with reverse ETL and data activation is a plus
Experience with front-end development and creating user-facing applications is a plus
