About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop high-quality, secure, testable software
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Review and debug code
Perform validation and verification testing
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies
Report directly to the Head of Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
Strong knowledge of strongly and dynamically typed programming languages, including C# and JavaScript
Significant experience working with an at-scale public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
In-depth knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
In-depth knowledge of non-relational databases, such as DynamoDB
Experience leveraging automated testing frameworks, such as Jest and NUnit
Experience using system monitoring tools, such as AWS CloudWatch
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling, such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Familiarity with Linux system administration
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
