About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a seamless Corporate Spending experience
  • Accelerate adoption and usage of existing products
  • Work with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to take products from concepts through implementation and launch
  • Partner with customers to understand experiences and needs
  • Identify product gaps and generate ideas that empower customers and drive growth
  • Analyze customer feedback and measure product outcomes
  • Own the look, feel, and experience of the user-facing application, design flows, and experiences
  • Prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Communicate the rationale behind product roadmap, prioritization, and sequencing
  • Develop and deliver mock-ups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications
  • Transform broad conceptual ideas into useful and valuable customer experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5+ years of Product Design experience
  • Product Design experience preferably in B2B SaaS and early to mid-stage startup environments
  • Understanding of modern front-end engineering tools and practices
  • Technical proficiency in Figma
  • Ability to build clean, reusable components using existing constraints and auto-layout
  • Experience owning product experience
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Ability to create a vision and execute it
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to analyze work and improve products
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to connect with Engineering and bring stakeholders together
  • Ability to understand and synthesize diverse perspectives and opinions
  • Experience with accounting/finance-related products or working closely with finance leaders
  • Commercial focus and understanding of the market and business
  • ROI mindset
  • Customer-focused relationship-building and advocacy skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Ability to oversee development and ensure successful deployment
  • Ability to work independently, remotely, or asynchronously
