About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a panel of key strategic broker partners
- Drive mutual growth and long-term broker relationships
- Deliver high volumes of broker submissions
- Build, grow, develop, and onboard broker partners
- Promote Flock’s insurance appetite and proposition as it expands into new sectors
- Develop and execute data-driven account growth strategies
- Support day-to-day trading activity to improve conversion and retention
- Help brokers and Flock win and retain business
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve shared growth objectives
- Maintain broker advocacy by being visible, responsive, and passionate about Flock’s product and mission
- Use AI for broker research, meeting preparation, pipeline analysis, and identifying growth opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience managing broker relationships within the insurance sector
- Reputable standing in the insurance industry
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth
- Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Existing network of broker contacts
- Exceptional understanding of the commercial broker marketplace, competitor carriers, broker business models, and processes
- Ability to deliver a consultative sales process aligned with brokers’ business needs
- Comfortable using AI for research, meeting preparation, and account analysis
- Preferable: experience building broker networks in a Commercial Motor Fleet setting
- Preferable: broker distribution background with an active panel of commercial insurance brokers
- Preferable: experience distributing new technologies and products to brokers
