About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Fluent’s inventory offerings, reporting analysis, competitive advantages, resources, and processes
  • Persuasively articulate Fluent’s offerings to new and existing clients
  • Manage a large book of business and maintain strong advertiser relationships
  • Meet and exceed client performance expectations and ensure long-term success
  • Monitor client budgets, focusing on increasing marketing budgets or spend
  • Prepare and present formal business reviews to top clients
  • Lead client communications, including onboarding, performance feedback, creative changes, pacing reports, performance reports, meetings, campaign recommendations, and growth strategies
  • Partner with the Account Director to identify, create, and implement solutions achieving measurable client results
  • Serve as an external product consultant, educating clients and agencies on advertising solutions and best practices
  • Understand client KPIs and communicate metrics internally for optimization
  • Proactively introduce revenue-driving opportunities
  • Manage product onboarding, including campaign builds with Sales, creative design with the Media team, and tracking requirements with Operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams on feedback, analysis, optimization suggestions, and recommendations
  • Formulate plans to extend new business and additional channel distribution with established accounts
  • Oversee monthly billable numbers submitted to Finance for invoicing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience managing a book of business within digital performance marketing
  • Experience in the digital performance space
  • Extremely organized and meticulous, with ability to manage many campaigns simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience managing client budgets, spend targets, revenue pacing, and exercising sales skills
  • Excellent math and analytical skills
  • High proficiency in Excel, including functions to analyze complex data sets
  • Proficiency in utilizing industry tracking software
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Self-motivated/self-starter mentality
  • Management experience preferred
  • Must complete employment authorization verification through Form I-9/E-Verify
