About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow a portfolio of 10–20 of Flyability’s largest North American accounts
  • Make accounts successful with Elios hardware, software and payloads
  • Expand accounts through new sites, departments and use cases
  • Map each account from pilot to economic decision-maker
  • Run business development inside the account portfolio
  • Work with Area Sales Managers and reseller partners
  • Own the revenue objective and growth strategy for assigned accounts
  • Maintain account stakeholder mapping in Salesforce
  • Identify new sites, departments and use cases
  • Run the full opportunity lifecycle from demonstration to purchase order
  • Conduct on-site and remote interactions with users and sponsors
  • Lead business reviews with largest accounts
  • Coordinate account plans with Area Sales Managers and reseller partners
  • Identify account risks involving adoption, satisfaction and competitive threats
  • Mobilise Customer Success, Support, Product and Field Operations to address risks
  • Provide structured customer feedback to Product and Marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years in key account management, business development or complex B2B sales
  • Ideally selling hardware and software into industrial customers
  • Familiarity with large multi-site organisations and procurement processes
  • Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s in engineering, business administration or a related field
  • Fluent English; Spanish or French an asset
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust across all levels of an organisation
  • Ability to translate complex technology into clear and accessible language
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority
  • Authorised to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Denver area
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time, nationally and internationally
  • Comfortable working on industrial sites, including climbing multiple flights of stairs
  • Able to load, unload and set up equipment weighing 50–70 lb
