About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategic management of FMC’s Rynaxypyr® and Cyazypyr® insect control products
- Integrate development, regulatory, production, supply, and marketing aspects for successful commercialization and lifecycle management
- Contribute to global insecticide portfolio strategy, including marketing initiatives, product launches, lifecycle management, positioning, pricing, trademarks, patents, and intellectual property strategies
- Optimize financial performance of assigned assets, including formulation and brand profitability
- Support pricing strategy development with regional marketing
- Track global performance metrics including volume growth, pricing realization, and market share; own product-level P&L
- Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, grower behavior, competitive movements, and regulatory changes
- Develop globally consistent brand guidelines, communication frameworks, and customer narratives
- Identify emerging opportunities and risks, propose mitigation or growth actions, and monitor brand equity, adoption, and customer feedback KPIs
- Represent products in cross-functional forums and global marketing councils
- Provide inputs to operations, supply chain, and procurement for capacity planning, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and global allocation prioritization
- Participate in third-party discussions regarding product and active-ingredient licensing
- Provide market insight to R&D for discovery targets and development projects aligned with future customer needs
- Interact with global, regional, and key country leadership and participate in business planning and product innovation processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. or B.A. degree in Marketing, Business Management, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience; or an MBA/M.S. degree in a relevant discipline with at least 8 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in crop protection, seeds, biologicals, or agribusiness at a national or regional level
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-term product, portfolio, and market strategies, including product lifecycle management, market positioning, go-to-market planning, and initiatives that drive sustainable growth and profitability
- In-depth understanding of commercial, regulatory, research and development, supply chain, and product stewardship interdependencies
- Ability to assess competitive threats, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and market trends
- Strong analytical and financial capabilities, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, demand forecasting, pricing, budgeting, profitability assessment, and translating market insights into actionable business plans and measurable results
- Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across functions, geographies, and organizational levels
- Ability to build productive internal and external partnerships and work effectively across cultures and in a matrixed organizational environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong project management, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing market conditions, uphold regulatory compliance and responsible product stewardship
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
