About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and assist in maintaining and enhancing processes supporting the Electronic Payments Team
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for processes within the Electronic Payment workstream
  • Coordinate and complete projects involving process changes, system enhancements, compliance activities, audits, and procedure updates
  • Document and maintain processes, procedures, and workflow diagrams in a central repository
  • Assist with developing, testing, and implementing quality and process controls
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor performance metrics
  • Coordinate process updates and improvements
  • Ensure control documentation aligns with processes and procedures
  • Provide input for capacity planning and Skills matrix planning; lead quarterly employee updates
  • Lead tactical continuous improvement initiatives and partner on enterprise-level strategic initiatives
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement process enhancements
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and monitor Problem tracker updates
  • Maintain proficiency in electronic lockbox processing and process incoming lockbox transactions
  • Research and resolve incoming calls and email questions regarding policies and procedures
  • Contribute to audit responses, compliance testing and remediation planning, RSA's, AT 501, TPRM updates, statistical reporting reviews, and business continuity planning
  • Develop and maintain system/application expertise to support operations, development, training, and customer relations
  • Investigate non-critical production issues and assist with problem resolution
  • Perform or coordinate staff training for new systems or enhancements
  • Establish working relationships with CTS, FNIT, Product, Audit, FNO Risk and Compliance, Financial Crimes, and other organizational partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field or 3+ years 3-5 years of production processing experience with demonstrated process improvement results
  • Experience maintaining process documentation and ensuring version control
  • Ability to monitor process performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for training staff and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings and process improvement sessions
  • Proven track record of building professional working relationships across departments
  • Demonstrated ability to escalate issues appropriately and follow escalation protocols
  • Experience with process mapping tools and workflow documentation
  • General knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
  • Project management experience with ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate controls documentation alignment
  • Experience with business process management platforms or process improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with process mining, analytics, or business intelligence tools
  • Experience implementing continuous improvements
  • Knowledge of control frameworks and risk management practices
  • Experience with electronic payments processing or related banking operations
  • Understanding of audit requirements and compliance testing procedures
