About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop change requests and fixes for Focus Bespoke CMS and CRM applications
Write unit tests and work with the QA Analyst to ensure developments meet acceptance criteria
Undertake development-related Support desk work on a rota basis
Work on business-required projects
Participate in stand-ups, team meetings and poker planning sessions
Build new functionality and support existing functionality across internal applications and services
Collaborate with the internal development team to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Good ability in writing unit tests
Efficient understanding of JavaScript, jQuery and Vue.js
Previous experience using SQL, preferably MariaDB/MySQL
Efficiency in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap and Laravel
Knowledge of API development and Postman
Working knowledge of branching and Git version control
Ability to build meaningful working relationships with colleagues
Proven experience in an equivalent role
Customer-focused approach and desire to understand and deliver customer requirements
Experience of the software development life cycle
Good written and verbal communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality products and ensuring standards are met
Team player who enjoys problem solving
Experience of billing systems, CRM/CMS systems, relevant industry experience, cloud development, development security, .NET, DevOps/CI/CD, and AI technologies are desired
