About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-quality customer experience for installation and maintenance of customers' ICT solutions, remotely and onsite
  • Act as an escalation point for complex faults within area of specialism
  • Lead small, medium and large project delivery as part of a team
  • Audit and document client infrastructure and conduct site surveys
  • Attend customer calls for technical discussions, scoping and design
  • Mentor and support other engineers, sharing best practice and technical leadership
  • Cover parts of Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire
  • Visit different customer sites across the assigned area most days

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in an IT support or delivery role, ideally within an MSP
  • Subject matter expert level knowledge in at least one specialism: networking; server and storage; or cloud
  • Solid generalist technical knowledge
  • Confident troubleshooting and ability to architect solutions within area of expertise
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites across Central London most days
  • Flexibility to adjust hours or stay overnight for larger project work when needed
  • Relevant vendor certifications are advantageous but not essential, including Microsoft, Meraki, SonicWall, Aruba or Cisco certifications such as MS-101, MS-100, AZ-104 or AZ-140
