About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the annual business planning and reforecasting cycle with the CFO and senior leadership
- Develop and maintain the group financial model, including ARR drivers, revenue bridge analysis, cost base evolution, and multi-currency consolidation
- Lead commercial analysis for pricing decisions, customer profitability assessments, and strategic initiatives
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs for the CFO, Board, and investor stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance departmental performance dashboards and scorecards
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Product, and Operations leaders to define KPIs and track performance
- Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior periods, providing commentary and recommendations
- Extract, transform, and analyse data from HubSpot, resource platforms, and operational systems
- Produce recurring and ad-hoc analyses covering pipeline health, ARR movement, churn, retention, implementation throughput, and professional services utilisation
- Support financial integration of acquired businesses and consolidation into group reporting and management accounts
- Build financial models and analysis for acquisition due diligence
- Track post-acquisition integration milestones, synergies, and risks
- Lead the finance workstream in the planned ERP implementation and migration programme
- Support process documentation, system configuration validation, user acceptance, and finance-team change
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting tools, consolidation platforms, and data pipelines
- Report directly to the CFO and act as a strategic and commercial partner across the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum of four to six years post qualification experience
- Demonstrable experience in an FP&A or commercial finance role, ideally within a technology, SaaS, or subscription-model business
- Strong financial modelling skills, including multi-scenario models
- High standard of accuracy and presentation
- Ability to work alongside and constructively challenge senior management
- Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Experience of ERP implementation or migration from a finance workstream perspective, including system selection, requirements, testing, or go-live
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, CAC payback, LTV, Rule of 40
- Experience in a PE-backed or investor-reporting environment
- Experience with CRM or product analytics data, including HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- Track record supporting or leading financial aspects of an M&A integration or business combination
- Knowledge of food, agri-food, or supply chain technology sectors
