About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment
Provide day-to-day DevOps support, including environment setup, build/deployment troubleshooting, and CI/CD pipeline optimization
Develop backend systems using TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, SQL-based RDBMS, and AWS CDK
Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation through AWS CDK
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions
Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent tools
Apply SRE practices to ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and incident response
Debug and troubleshoot application layers, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure components
Manage and automate file transfer workflows, maintain system security, and monitor system alerts
Collaborate with development, engineering, product, support teams, and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role
Deep expertise in managing and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment using CDK (AWS Cloud Development Kit)
3+ years of experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Proven experience in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Proficiency using observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent
Demonstrated success in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across application layers, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure components
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with engineering, product, and support teams
