About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of test cases, test plans, and test scripts for features and releases
Coordinate testing across web UI, mobile apps, APIs, and backend services
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
Validate data quality and transformations across data pipelines and Data Lakes
Support testing for AI/ML models and ensure output consistency and accuracy
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps on CI/CD integration and fast feedback loops
Track and report test coverage, defect metrics, and release readiness
Mentor and guide QA engineers and manual testers
Drive regression, smoke, and performance testing across environments
Ensure adherence to QA best practices, HIPAA, and health tech regulatory standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in software QA, including 3-5 years in a lead or senior QA role
Programming knowledge with TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Python
Strong hands-on experience in automated UI/API testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Protractor
Experience with mobile app test automation
Familiarity with data quality testing in cloud-based environments such as AWS, Redshift, or S3
Comfortable writing and executing SQL queries for backend validation
Exposure to AI/ML product testing or model verification workflows
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and the software development lifecycle
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred: backend development with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
Preferred: advanced SQL knowledge and relational databases
Preferred: familiarity with Apache Airflow or Luigi
Preferred: hands-on experience with Snowflake or Redshift
Preferred: prior experience in health tech, digital health, or telehealth platforms
Preferred: knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
Preferred: experience with TestRail, Zephyr, Jira, JMeter, k6, or Postman
