About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage product administration, including article creation, new lines, deletions and product changes
  • Support price changes and track competitor activity
  • Maintain accurate pricing records
  • Coordinate promotional activity, including pricing, advertising allocation, circular proofing, error resolution and store communications
  • Complete post-promotion and ad hoc performance analysis
  • Help the team identify opportunities and make informed decisions
  • Respond promptly to store queries
  • Communicate with suppliers, members, stores and the wider Merchandise team
  • Support delivery of a strong, customer-led Butchery offer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Drive to improve processes
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including experience using VLOOKUP
  • Initiative and resilience
  • Ability to find practical solutions in a changing environment
  • Experience within grocery, FMCG or retail is beneficial but not essential
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow
