About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and operationalize Forbes's internal AI roadmap in partnership with executive leadership
- Drive high-impact AI initiatives that improve workflows and business outcomes
- Translate strategic priorities into scalable operational programs, processes, and execution plans
- Embed AI capabilities into existing workflows and systems
- Partner with Product and Engineering on AI deployment and integration
- Lead enterprise-wide AI adoption across Editorial, Audience Development, Consumer Revenue, Advertising, and corporate functions
- Build enablement systems, training programs, operational playbooks, and an internal AI community of practice
- Own change management processes and improve adoption
- Support AI governance, responsible AI standards, vendor evaluations, and tooling rationalization
- Monitor operational and reputational risks associated with AI adoption
- Build reporting frameworks and dashboards tracking adoption, workflow efficiency, time savings, output quality, and business impact
- Assess ROI and effectiveness of AI initiatives and support budget and vendor management
- Communicate initiative progress, adoption metrics, challenges, and business impact to senior leadership
- Serve as operational lead for enterprise AI transformation initiatives
- Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on execution, enablement, and operational excellence
- Foster cross-functional alignment and execution discipline
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–12+ years of experience in transformation, operations, product, platform, or program leadership roles
- Proven track record building and scaling AI operations functions or enterprise operational programs
- Strong change management experience driving adoption across large, diverse organizations
- Experience defining and managing operational standards, workflows, and governance frameworks at scale
- Experience executing complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Experience building or scaling internal systems, workflows, enablement programs, or operational platforms
- Hands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to operational workflows
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring operational impact and adoption outcomes
- Background in consulting, internal strategy, change management, or operational excellence within scaled organizations
- Experience in digital media, publishing, or content-driven businesses
- Experience leading enterprise workflow or large-scale operational transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with personalization systems, content operations, or audience growth mechanics
- Experience operationalizing AI platforms such as OpenAI, Vertex AI, or similar
- Experience partnering with Legal, Privacy, Security, or Compliance teams on technology initiatives
- Experience managing or rationalizing complex SaaS or AI tooling environments
- Must reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington
