About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow Force Factor’s business with national retail partners
  • Build customer relationships, expand distribution, and drive profitable growth across assigned accounts
  • Drive year-over-year territory growth by expanding distribution, increasing velocity, securing shelf space, and identifying whitespace opportunities
  • Own full P&L and commercial relationships for assigned national retail accounts
  • Manage trade spend and promotional ROI; partner with finance on deductions and profitable promotional investments
  • Lead broker relationships and hold partners accountable for execution and results
  • Own account-level sales forecasts with demand planning and supply chain
  • Align inventory with promotional plans and customer demand to maintain in-stock levels, OTIF delivery, and fill rates
  • Develop and execute joint business plans, annual plans, promotional strategies, innovation presentations, and category reviews
  • Build relationships with buyers, category managers, and key account decision-makers
  • Drive distribution and velocity through distributor partners
  • Lead ingredient-forward, scientifically grounded selling conversations
  • Identify new distribution opportunities aligned with Force Factor’s brand positioning
  • Develop consumer-insight-driven selling stories tailored to each retailer
  • Partner with marketing, finance, and operations to execute business plans
  • Monitor and analyze account-level sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Represent Force Factor at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Report directly to the Chief Retail Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university required
  • 4–7 years of national account management experience in CPG
  • Strong and demonstrable track record of driving growth with national retailers
  • Demonstrated career stability, with employment at no more than two companies in the past seven years
  • Clear upward career progression demonstrated through earned promotions and increasing scope, responsibility, and ownership of business results
  • Direct ownership of national retailer relationships, including headquarters sales calls, buyer relationships, business plan negotiations, and account-level results
  • Ability to credibly discuss ingredient science, formulation strategy, and clinical differentiation
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize SPINS, POS, and distributor data
  • Ability to develop strategic joint business plans and present persuasively to buyers and senior retail decision-makers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with ability to manage a multi-account portfolio and competing deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial, ownership-oriented mindset; operates with urgency and initiative
  • Comfortable working independently while staying connected to internal teams
  • High travel cadence to accounts and headquarters
  • Detail-oriented, driven, competitive, and motivated to win
  • Experience in vitamins, supplements, or health and wellness strongly preferred
  • Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
