About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new accounts through business-to-business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services
  • Develop and implement customer account and opportunity plans with the Regional Vice President
  • Engage sales engineers, channel, solutions sales teams, and executives in account-plan development and implementation
  • Use the CRM system to develop, manage, and close forecasted opportunities
  • Manage and drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies
  • Execute complex sales and manage the sales process and activities
  • Manage 150–300 prospect accounts
  • Meet or exceed sales quota
  • Interface with all levels of management to negotiate and exchange information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree preferred
  • 2–5 years of sales experience or equivalent work experience
  • Proven cybersecurity experience, including cloud security and network security
  • Experience managing, growing, and taking ownership of accounts
  • Previous experience with accounts with 2,000 employees or more
  • Proven sales background with consistent achievement against quota
  • Experience presenting to C-level/executive-level contacts
  • Experience working with channel partners and developing business directly
  • Ability to partner with internal sales resources, including sales specialists and sales engineers, and liaise with external partners
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN
  • Structured and process-oriented working style with good time-management skills
  • Experience working across various vertical markets
  • Good analytical and forecasting skills
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
