About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications, automation solutions, integrations, and enterprise software
Partner with business stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and IT to identify opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions
Lead solution delivery through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, governance, and support
Develop and maintain applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and data-driven solutions
Build AI-enabled solutions using enterprise AI platforms, large language models, and AI-assisted development tools
Validate AI-generated code for quality, security, and production readiness
Troubleshoot applications and improve reliability, performance, and user experience
Partner with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams on enterprise standards, governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices
Establish reusable development standards, templates, and best practices
Coach citizen developers and business solution owners and help transition solutions into governed production environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 12 years of related experience; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and supporting production software applications and enterprise solutions
Strong programming experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or similar modern development languages
Experience building and consuming APIs, integrations, and cloud-based services
Knowledge of source control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support
Understanding of secure application development, authentication, authorization, data protection, and application security principles
Experience evaluating and leveraging AI-assisted development tools and AI-generated outputs
Experience in software engineering, application development, automation, AI enablement, analytics, digital transformation, or related technology disciplines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred experience supporting global organizations, manufacturing operations, or high-tech environments
Preferred technical experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Power Platform, AI agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, workflow automation, Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, REST APIs, microservices, Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Databricks, SQL Server, GitHub, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, enterprise integrations, ERP platforms, workflow orchestration, business intelligence, data visualization, and process automation
