About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary technical point of contact and face of Formlabs across the DACH region and beyond
Travel to customer sites to unpack, install, commission, and calibrate new 3D printing systems
Conduct structured on-site user training on machinery operation, software use, and basic maintenance
Perform live product demonstrations
Respond rapidly to customer downtime and perform urgent repairs
Conduct annual preventative maintenance visits within the 90-day target window
Diagnose electromechanical issues and achieve single-visit resolutions
Execute a high volume of field service activity
Independently manage flights, trains, hotels, rental cars, and expenses
Maintain installation, training, and repair records in Salesforce

Requirements

What you’ll need

Based in Munich or within a 45-minute drive (highly preferred due to hub connectivity)
Willing to travel 80%+ of the time
Strong technical background in electromechanical/hardware
Soft skills required to teach others how to use the technology
Fluency in German and English, both C1
Valid driver’s license required
French fluency is a bonus
Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies is a bonus
Experience in rapidly-growing startup environments is a bonus
