About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain MyForterro microservices and APIs dedicated to business components
Work on areas such as billing, open banking, and other shared business services
Develop backend services in C# / .NET / .NET Core within an API-oriented and distributed architecture environment
Take ownership of complex development projects, from technical scoping through production deployment
Contribute to technical design, component decomposition, interface definition, and architecture evolution
Contribute to data models and relational database access, particularly PostgreSQL
Ensure the quality, robustness, security, and maintainability of software development
Help resolve challenging technical issues
Participate in code reviews, define standards, and improve engineering practices
Industrialize development through CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions
Design and evolve shared components or libraries, including through NuGet packages
Collaborate with teams based in France
Explain technical practices, solutions, and procedures to stakeholders
Support less experienced developers through mentoring, code reviews, and knowledge sharing, without direct line-management responsibility
Improve processes, systems, or components within the Business Services scope
Contribute occasionally to central MyForterro initiatives related to authorization, core services, or AI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in backend software development, ideally in a B2B, SaaS, platform, or multi-product environment
Excellent command of C# / .NET / .NET Core in production environments
Strong experience designing and developing secure REST APIs
Good knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
Very good understanding of microservices architectures and service integration principles
Ability to work independently on complex technical projects
Good understanding of service architecture, component decomposition, maintainability, and scalability challenges
Software quality skills, including code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and continuous improvement
Good understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization
Good knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect standards
Experience creating or maintaining NuGet packages
Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions
Strong command of GitHub and Jira
Fluent French
Ability to collaborate with teams based in France
Additional experience with AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Artifactory, modern cloud environments, DevOps practices, AI, or transaction services is a plus
