About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain highly interactive, scalable, and visually compelling Tableau dashboards
  • Optimize complex data models, DAX queries, and Tableau calculations for rapid report performance and seamless user experience
  • Migrate legacy reporting systems into modern, AI-augmented BI frameworks
  • Embed native and third-party AI functionalities, such as Tableau Pulse and Einstein AI, into analytics workflows
  • Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize machine learning models in executive-level dashboards
  • Leverage generative AI tools to automate data preparation, SQL/DAX/Python code generation, and insight summarization
  • Write complex, optimized SQL queries
  • Build efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines from cloud warehouses
  • Implement row-level security and data governance policies within BI environments
  • Serve as subject matter expert on emerging AI and BI trends
  • Recommend new tools and frameworks
  • Translate complex business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into technical blueprints

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of professional experience writing advanced calculations, data modeling, and developing enterprise-scale deployments in Tableau
  • Hands-on experience deploying modern AI/BI features
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL
  • Strong working knowledge of Python or R for advanced data manipulation and statistical modeling
  • Proven experience with cloud data platform stacks, including Databricks, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake
  • Strong analytical mindset with an eye for UI/UX design and data storytelling
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project timelines
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain technical AI concepts to business stakeholders
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Preferred: Tableau Desktop/Server Certified Professional certification
  • Preferred: Experience with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Cloud AI
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Nice to have: Power BI, Zoho Analytics, or Qlik Sense
