About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed functional, regression, and performance test plans
  • Build complex testbeds integrating multiple Fortinet and third-party devices
  • Perform interoperability testing between Fortinet and third-party devices/clients
  • Analyze customer-reported issues, review logs, replicate defects in the lab, and validate fixes
  • Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution
  • Produce accurate QA reports on time
  • Build and maintain test infrastructure for feature validation and defect reproduction
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with developers on debugging
  • Work within the R&D team to assess WLAN product productivity, reliability, accuracy, and release readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–6+ years of wireless QA experience
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including test plans, bug tracking, and failure documentation
  • Knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be wireless protocols
  • Experience with functional, stress/load, and performance testing
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX/Windows OS
  • Experience with debugging and log analysis
  • Experience with Wireshark, Omnipeek, Ixia Veriwave, Chariot, and iperf
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Python automation experience
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
