About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead all sales and customer service functions across LANDAUER's Dosimetry and Industrial & Government business lines in North America
- Own full North America revenue, including approximately $125M in recurring revenue
- Drive revenue growth through sales strategy, customer expansion, cross-sell/upsell, and churn reduction
- Own sales and customer service P&L, revenue targets, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Develop North America commercial strategy, sales targets, budgets, and go-to-market priorities with the VP/GM
- Lead and develop a multi-layered sales and service organization
- Establish portfolio KPIs, evaluate performance, and prioritize whitespace and competitive opportunities
- Manage strategic account relationships with GPOs, health systems, and government agencies
- Lead portfolio business reviews and provide data-driven reporting to the VP/GM
- Build sales accountability, pipeline discipline, quota achievement, and retention performance
- Design and evolve sales compensation and incentive structures
- Implement churn-prevention and customer-retention programs
- Ensure alignment among sales, customer service, and operations
- Oversee business development support for GPO/IDN and strategic account administration
- Develop contract strategies and translate negotiated agreements into commercial growth
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product on offer design, pricing, and packaging
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Product on commercial strategy and company goals
- Represent the North America customer and market in broader strategic planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
- 3–5 years of second-line leadership experience
- Direct management of a multi-layered sales organization, including managing managers
- Experience owning at least $100M in annual sales revenue
- Knowledge of hardware and software sales motions
- Experience selling recurring-revenue services, such as subscription, managed service, or contract-based models
- Experience with contract negotiations and growth through negotiated agreements
- Success driving cross-sell and upsell performance
- Success growing ARR through churn reduction and retention strategies
- Strong track record building, leading, and developing sales and customer service teams
- Experience partnering with or overseeing sales compensation design and administration
- Excellent executive communication
- Strong planning, negotiating, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, life sciences, industrial safety, regulated services, or related B2B recurring-services industries
- Preferred: experience selling to healthcare, industrial, and/or government segments, including GPOs or large institutional/group purchasing entities
- Preferred: familiarity with radiation safety, occupational health, or EHS markets
