About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute comprehensive QA strategies, standards, and best practices for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Architect, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and cloud-based applications.
Lead code reviews and provide technical feedback to development and QA team members.
Oversee quality assurance processes and documentation.
Design and optimize automated testing solutions integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and report on test results, defects, and quality metrics.
Evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and technologies.
Ensure QA practices adhere to HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and secure coding guidelines.
Validate interoperability and data integrity for systems integrating with EHRs and clinical platforms.
Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Mentor and coach QA engineers.
Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and other functional teams to maintain Provation products.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
5-8 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with advanced test automation, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and healthcare compliance.
Proven experience leading QA teams or initiatives.
Occasional travel may be required.
Familiarity with testing tools including xUnit, WebDriver IO, Playwright, and Jasmine.
Familiarity with Azure and AWS; certification is a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare standards including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and Jira.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA certifications are a plus.
Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers and driving quality strategy.
