About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Enhance the SC Managed program and evolve ServiceChannel’s Facility Management as a Service offering
Specialize in one or more trades such as HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance
Provide facilities support to clients in convenience store/fuel, grocery/supermarket, restaurant, and retail sectors
Develop the SCM Solution and take ownership of provider and client success through the SCM Trade Specialist solution
Use ServiceChannel software tools and established process flows to provide trade repair expertise
Review proposals within areas of trade expertise for accuracy and compliance with submission SLAs
Evaluate labor hours, parts, and material markups to support transparent client pricing
Compare problem descriptions with provider diagnoses and recommended scopes of work
Collaborate with internal teams during RFPs, client meetings, and presentations
Evaluate complicated work tasks for clients with multiple locations
Review work exceeding normal repairs or established NTEs and provide timely approvals
Update and document work order information throughout the work order lifecycle
Learn and apply standard operating procedures and identify process improvements
Present the trade specialist team’s value to clients during regular business reviews
Attend client or provider meetings as needed for trade expertise
Adapt between strategic planning and hands-on tasks according to daily team needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, general contracting/handyman services, painting, flooring, or roofing for commercial spaces
Experience serving commercial spaces such as grocery stores, restaurants, and retail outlets
Proficient in building relationships with diverse teams, clients, and providers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven data analysis and presentation abilities, including for executive-level audiences
Strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities
Experience or readiness to create and deliver presentations alongside Facility Coordinators
Background in Customer Service
Strong attention to detail
Innovative and resourceful mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SaaS platforms
Experience and/or familiarity with ServiceChannel preferred
Facility Management Services or IFM experience preferred
Trade certifications a plus
