About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the first technical line for Finance Workday and Adaptive Planning tickets received through the Foundation’s service management intake
Support Finance staff through training, process documentation, and user guides
Maintain and audit Workday worktag values and data mapping
Support Adaptive Planning as a platform and data integrity
Support testing for Workday’s semiannual releases and configuration changes
Conduct discovery sessions and work with external consultants
Support financial systems across back-office and program partners using a consultative, service-first approach

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must reside in California
Knowledge of Workday Financials, including the Foundation Data Model, security, custom reporting, and financial modules (Spend, Customer Accounts, Financial Accounting, Projects)
Understanding of finance operations, financial data management and reporting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or a comparable planning platform preferred
Comfortable working with large data sets in Excel and executing EIB loads accurately
Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and data work, with sound judgment about responsible use around sensitive financial data
