About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and productionize AI agents and workflows, including support automation, voice, and onboarding agents
Develop, test, and maintain backend applications in Python and Java or GoLang
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across development, QA, and release
Design and implement data models and database schemas
Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate backend systems with the user interface
Perform code reviews and ensure code quality standards
Troubleshoot and debug applications, including AI agent workflows in production
Work with DevOps to deploy and manage applications in production using Kubernetes
Stay current with technologies and industry trends in AI and agentic systems
Work on data integrations across the shipper and carrier ecosystem
Collaborate with the US team and customers to shape logistics products

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience as a Backend/Software Developer
Hands-on exposure to AI/agentic systems
Python — mandatory
Proficiency in Java or GoLang
2+ years of hands-on experience with LangGraph or similar agentic frameworks
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Working knowledge of Kubernetes
Full Agile SDLC experience — development, QA, and release
Strong knowledge of Git, including branches, submodules, and rebasing
Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services is a plus
