About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on features end to end across backend and frontend using RoR, Java, GoLang, Angular, React, Redis, and PostgreSQL
Develop products that impact the logistics and supply chain industry
Develop integrations with strategic partners to expand the ecosystem
Work closely with the US team and customers to develop features
Design, architect, implement, test, profile, release, and optimize high-quality software/services using RoR, Golang, or Java
Partner with product managers to analyze product requirements and plan engineering execution
Document HLD/LLD for knowledge sharing and future scaling
Perform design and code reviews
Implement code with high unit-test and component-test coverage
Cross-train peers and mentor teammates
Apply expertise in performance, security, scalability, architecture, and best practices
Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions
Collaborate with UX designers to develop responsive user interface components
Work with SQL-based and NoSQL data stores and write intermediate-level SQL
Build web application backends using Java Spring Boot or similar technologies
Work with frontend libraries/frameworks such as React or Angular

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related field from a reputed institution
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Engineering and Web application development
Good understanding of software design, Microservices architecture, object-oriented principles, and design patterns
Experience designing and developing high-quality software/services using RoR, Golang, or Java
Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and object-oriented programming principles
Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services, or other cloud services
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Strong knowledge of Git, including branches, submodules, and rebasing
Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Agile SDLC experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Graduate from B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech background
